Getting started
What is ProGrafter?
How is ProGrafter different from lead-selling platforms?
ProGrafter does not sell leads. Homeowner briefs are reviewed before matching, trades are checked, and marketplace commission is described as applying after completed, paid work.
See pricingWhere is ProGrafter available?
You can submit a project from within the UK. Initial trade coverage is focused on Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands; a match depends on the work and verified trades available locally.
Homeowners
How many quotes will I get?
Where your project is suitable and local coverage allows, ProGrafter may invite up to three verified trades. An invitation, match or quote is not guaranteed.
What happens when I post a job?
Your project is submitted to ProGrafter for review, not automatically published to trades. We may contact you to clarify the work before deciding whether it is suitable for matching.
Learn about project reviewIs ProGrafter free to use?
Submitting a project for review and core marketplace matching are free for homeowners where coverage allows. The Project Cost Guide is free; Quote Checker is a separate, optional paid product. Trades pay commission after completed, paid work.

Are the trades insured and qualified?
Trade verification includes identity, public liability insurance and relevant qualifications where applicable, alongside references or work history and ongoing checks. Review the specific trade's documents and suitability for your work.
Read Our ChecksDoes ProGrafter certify or guarantee trades?
No. We verify trades before they are matched, but ProGrafter is not an insurer or certification body. Verification does not replace your own judgement or a written agreement.
Read Our ChecksHow do I get verified?
Apply as a trade and provide the required identity, insurance and relevant qualification documents. The checks are reviewed before approval; there is no promised turnaround time.
How verification worksWhat checks happen before a brief reaches trades?
The project submission collects contact details, a full project address and a description of the work. The brief is held for ProGrafter review and may need clarification before any suitable trade invitation. It is not automatically published.
Quotes & projects
Does the Quote Checker rate the trade?
No. It reviews the quote document — what is included, unclear or missing — and explains its findings. It assesses the document, not the person, and does not rank trades.
Can I check a builder's quote before I commit?
Start with the free guide to reading a building quote. Quote Checker is an optional paid review of your own quote; available module prices are shown before checkout.
Read the free guideWhat records can I keep during the project?
Depending on your project, accepted quote details, milestone records, site photo updates, decisions and documents can be kept together. These records do not mean stage payments are collected or held by ProGrafter.
See the productCan I sign a final contract or pay into escrow through ProGrafter?
Not currently. Digital contract signing, homeowner payment collection and end-to-end escrow are not live. Milestone records are not proof that money has been collected or released.
